Police investigate death of cyclist in
Wairarapa
Wairarapa Police are investigating a crash
between a car and a bicycle on Western Lake Road,
approximately 7km south of Featherston.
Police were called
to the scene shortly before 5pm yesterday (Sunday 24
September).
As a result of the crash the cyclist, a
48-year-old Lower Hutt man, was killed.
His name will not
be released until his next of kin have been notified.
The
Serious Crash Unit and a Police photographer attended the
scene.
