Springtime Secrets of the Breath, Yoga & Meditation

Springtime Secrets of the Breath, Yoga & Meditation Unveiled

Aucklanders are being invited to take a deep breath of fresh air. Find a spot of inner peace and discover the secrets of wellbeing at an upcoming Spring has Sprung event at one of the inner city’s historic majestic buildings.

Led by celebrated breath teacher Amit Thanedar and the Art of Living Foundation the event will share the secrets of the breath, yoga and meditation from around the world at Hopetoun Alpha on Saturday November 4 from 10am with hot lunch included.

“The breath is the foundation to sustained wellbeing. Besides the fact it keeps us alive and nourishes our mind; conscious breath and laughter are the best medicine!” says Thanedar.

Volunteer organisers believe that the first time event will be a “mini holiday experience” for individuals, couples, and families. New tools for calming the mind and energising the body will be taught to attendees so they go home relaxed and refreshed ready for summer.

The event is suitable for mature children and adults of all ages whether you are new to yoga and mindfulness or have been practicing for years.

The Art of Living is a non-profit, educational and humanitarian organisation with a philosophy to achieve world peace through creating stress-free minds and a violence free society.

Founded in India by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in 1981, the Art of Living programmes have touched the lives of millions of people from diverse cultural and ethnicbackgrounds across the world.
