Police are currently responding to an
incident in the Lowburn area of Central Otago.
seeking a European male in his late teens.
He may be in
possession of a firearm and is not to be approached.
Police do not believe he poses a direct risk to members of
the public, as a precaution we advise local residents to
secure their vehicles and remain inside their properties
until otherwise notified.
Police are also interested in
any sightings of a white Nissan Navara ute - registration

Sam Uffindell’s defenders keep reminding us that he was only 16 at the time of the King’s College incident, and haven’t we all done things in our teens that, as adults, we look back on with shame and embarrassment?
