Tindall Foundation Funding Available Now in Taranaki

Are you part of a community group or charity that works with families or runs social services? Applications for the next round of Tindall Foundation funding for Taranaki organisations close on Wednesday 28 February.

Responsibility for allocating funding of around $40,000 per year under the Tindall Foundation’s Supporting Families and Social Services programme is now being overseen by Te Karaka Foundation.

“The Tindall Foundation has a unique system where they use local funding managers and committees to allocate funding under this programme and we’re thrilled the Tindall Foundation have recognised our expertise and local knowledge and have entrusted Te Karaka to make recommendations about how this funding is allocated,” says Te Karaka Foundation Chair Ken Horner.

Past recipients of the Tindall Foundation funding in Taranaki include: City Life cooking classes, Budget Advisory Services, the Women’s Centre and START Taranaki.

The specific areas targeted under the Tindall Foundation’s Supporting families and social services programme include: Early Years, Youth Development, Māori, Migrant, Refugees and Cross Cultural, Housing, Literacy and Numeracy, Budgeting and Community Services and Development.
