Alexandra Police searching for missing man Christopher Bates have now identified the person shown in a publicly released image.
Following the publication of the photograph, investigators have established the person is not Mr Bates.
Police appreciate the feedback received from the community this morning.
The land-based search for Mr Bates, comprising Search and Rescue volunteers and a Police dog team, has gone ahead as planned in several areas around Alexandra.
