"Serious crash in Timaru"

Police are attending a serious crash between a vehicle and a cyclist in Timaru.

The collision occured on Washdyke Flat Road about 2.30pm.

Washdyke Flat Road is closed between Laughton Road and Kelland Hill Road, and Police are advising motorists to avoid the area.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
