Find out what an Impact Hub can do in the Coromandel

Wintec and Trust Waikato will be hosting a group of global Impact Hub delegates next week in our district.

The purpose of their visit is to celebrate the work that has been done towards setting up an Impact Hub in New Zealand so far, and to workshop and discuss next steps.

Impact Hubs have been set up in dozens of places around the world to create flexible work spaces where start-ups and social entrepreneurs can rent desks and meeting venues and collaborate with one another.

Groups in several different areas of the country are working on starting up Impact Hubs in their area, and Jessica Liu is the project manager of the Waikato Impact Hub, which has support from Wintec and Trust Waikato.

See the Wintec website for more on the Waikato Impact Hub.

“Feedback from our first workshop has been extremely positive, and there is a high level of commitment to the concept. We have an awesome start to our journey of setting up an Impact Hub here in the Waikato,” Jessica Liu says.
