Update: Serious crash - Morrinsville

One person has died in the serious crash that occurred about 8.10am this morning on Piako Rd, Morrinsville.

Two other people have been transported to hospital in a moderate condition.

Police advise motorists to avoid the area if possible.

The road will remain closed while a scene examination is carried out.
