An 18-year-old man will face Court following an incident in Anzac Avenue yesterday.
Police have charged the man with attempted murder.
He is due to appear in the Auckland District Court this morning.
The victim remains in a serious, but stable condition in hospital.
As the matter is now before the Courts, we are unable to comment further.
