Body recovered after incident in Ruawai

Police:
Northland Police are investigating a sudden death
near Ruawai this morning, following the discovery of a 65
year old man’s body in the Ruawai river after a boating
incident.
The death has been reported to the
Coroner.
Police are not in a position to release the name
until family have been advised.
A post mortem examination
will be held, to assist the Coroner in determining the cause
of
death.
