Aggravated robbery – Oamaru
Oamaru Police are appealing for information following a report of an aggravated robbery at the Ascot Motel on Thames Highway Oamaru yesterday evening, Monday 4 February.
A man walked into the motel around 8pm and allegedly threatened the motelier with a weapon, before leaving with an amount of money.
The offender is described as Polynesian and of solid build.
He was wearing a black shirt, black puffer vest and blue jeans.
Police want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has any information that may assist the investigation.
