Person critically injured in Hastings assault
Attribute to Detective Inspector Mike Foster:
One person is in a critical condition after an assault on Maraekakaho Road in Hastings.
The incident occurred at about 10:55pm yesterday.
Police are speaking with one person and are not seeking any others.
However we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Hastings Police on (06) 831 0700 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police are conducting a scene examination today.
