SKYCITY Auckland Community Trust: last call for applications

MEDIA RELEASE

26 March 2019

SKYCITY Auckland Community Trust issues last call for applications

Applications for the SKYCITY Auckland Community Trust are about to close. Local community groups in the Auckland and Far North regions are encouraged to apply for funding before Friday 29 March at 5.00pm.

SKYCITY Auckland Community Trust is committed to making positive, ongoing change and supporting healthy communities. The Trust prioritises groups or programmes that encourage financial capability, employment and economic prosperity for healthy and stable families and youth.

Trust chairman John Bongard says the Trust has made financial capability, employment and families a priority and applicants who operate in one or more of the focus areas outlined will be welcomed.

“Our priorities are to help groups who can assist children and young people, low income families, families living in areas of high deprivation, and Māori and Pasifika. We believe that targeting funding to these specific areas will provide the change where change is needed most.”

Guidance notes and the application form are available online here www.skycityauckland.co.nz/about-us/community/grants/ or emailenquiries@skycitycommunitytrust.org.nz.

Applications close on Friday 29 March at 5pm.
