"SH1 re-open following serious crash, Hikurangi "

SH1 has re-opened following a crash around 1:20pm south of Hikurangi.

Four people were reported to have sustained serious injuries, and three moderate injuries.

An investigation will be carried out into the circumstances of the crash.
