Environment Canterbury is running
three events in two of your regional parks (Waimakariri
River Regional Park and Ashley
Rakahuri Regional Park) during this year’s KidsFest
festival.
Regional Ranger Challenge, July 9-20: Explore different areas of your parks, complete online challenge forms, and enter the draw to win a prize pack.
Ride the Rakahuri, 14
July: Explore the mountain bike tracks along the
Ashley/Rakahuri River and enjoy a sausage
sizzle.
Come Plant with Me!, July 19: Join the regional park rangers at Bailes Island Picnic Area for a planting day. Learn about what we are planting and why we have chosen these plants.
