Nelson Tasman Emergency Management is aware of a fault on the Chorus communications network which has affected internet and cell phone services in large parts of Golden Bay.

This is also affecting the 111 emergency number.

Currently, the 111 network is intermittent the issue is being worked on, and we hope it will be resolved soon but, in the meantime, if you have an emergency please keep trying.

Chorus Technicians are trying to establish where the fault is on their network and make repairs.
