Flooding Closes NPDC Venues, Impacting Roads And Wastewater Network
Some of our venues, roads and services have been impacted by the heavy rain across the district today.

Surfacing flooding reported:
- Carrington Road: Extensive surfacing flooding along most of the road, with the worst affected area between Dover Road and Plymouth Road.

- Windsor Road
- Ekarangi Road, Tikorangi
- Paraite Road, Bell Block

Slips
- 415 Barrett Road: Slip reportedly covering the entire road. Contractors on enroute to assess the situation. Coned off, road still open.
- Mill Road: Slip reported contractors are currently assessing. Coned off, road still open.
- Uruti Road
- South Road.
Wastewater overflows from the network:
- Huatoki (down from the Civic Centre), Glen Avon, Mangati, Te Henui, Inglewood, Ngamotu, Centre City, Northgate Bridge (Te Henui Walkway), Paritutu Bowling Club.
- Don’t go playing in the stormwater/flooded waters because of the risk of sewage contamination.
There are popped manholes around the district; please drive with extreme care.
