UPDATE: 3pm – SH8 Reopens After Crash
State Highway 8 between Lindis Pass and Omarama has reopened after a crash this morning.
Road users should expect some congestion as the traffic clears in the area, and people are asked to drive with care.

11.40am – Crash closes SH8, affecting Lindis Pass
Road users are being urged to delay their journeys, or to avoid State Highway 8 between Lindis Pass and Omarama, after a crash has resulted in the road being closed.
Emergency services are at the crash scene on SH8, at the intersection with Short Cut Road, and say there is only minor injuries.
