Australian Band Confirmed For Amex Cup Concert

The Australian rock band Silverchair has confirmed they will be performing in a one-night concert in the AMEX Cup Village on November 26th.

Silverchair are well known for a number of hits including Tomorrow and Anthem for the Year 2000. They have been compared to the late Kurt Cobain's band Nirvana and band members range in age from their late teens to early twenties.

PR Manager Sue Foley says." November is certainly going to be a big month for young New Zealand music lovers as on November 12th local band The Exponents are performing and its great to have another band that is as well known as Silverchair to follow only two weeks later.

While the daily entertainment in the AMEX Cup Village is free these major events will all be ticketed and vary in price depending on the artist."
