Today's Racing Cancelled
Race Director Vince Cooke has
cancelled all racing today due to wind conditions. This
morning showed a 25 knot - gusting 35 - northerly on the
scale.
'The Challengers are not racing..' said Cooke at
his 0630 call-up. 'Th amount of wind in which they will race
is defined in the Notice of Race.'
Cooke is referring to
the weather limitations which states that no racing will be
held in winds over 18 knots.
Racing continues tomorrow but
only one race is scheduled due to a clash with a coastal
sailing event. The pairings for Friday will be those for
Race Seven (i.e. those of today). Start gun will be
13:20.
In the meantime - go to the Live section and watch
the racing of
yesterday..
