Fireworks Wizard Gears Up For Millennium
A
fireworks wizard is gearing up for the biggest night of his
professional career - the millennium fireworks display over
the Auckland skyline.
Martin van Tiel, proprietor of Van
Tiel Pyrotechnics, is preparing fireworks up to the massive
24-inch "shell". It's will be the biggest firework ever
detonated in a New Zealand night sky.
The 70-kilogramme
shells will be part of Fire in the Sky 2000, a joint venture
display between Auckland City, North Shore City, Sky City
and American Express NZ Cup Village.

Has swapping Scott Morrison for Anthony Albanese made any discernible difference to Australia’s relations with the US, China, the Pacific and New Zealand? Not so far.
