CLEAR launches one-stop online package for small to medium businesses

CLEAR Communications today announced a new one-stop package for businesses wanting to leap onto the Internet – without spending thousands of dollars on web site development.

0508GETONLINE combines a custom-designed web site with the customer- friendliness of a CLEAR toll free number. The low-cost package includes:
- a professionally designed web site
- an 0508 or 0800 toll free name number that matches or complements the web site domain name
- free national toll free minutes
- six web site updates over a 12 month period
- hosting of the web site at CLEAR Net, as well as listings with the top seven search engines.

Business Manager Web Hosting Craig Tikao says the unique package is aimed at small to medium businesses that want a presence on the Internet but don’t know where to begin. The whole deal costs just a few hundred dollars per month, with the web site design being paid for over 12 months.

“Using the Internet and a toll free number, businesses can cost effectively learn about doing business online while offering superior customer service,” he says.

“They can take advantage of the brand development, revenue generation, cost savings and customer service opportunities offered by the Internet - without breaking the bank.”

CLEAR puts businesses in touch with an accredited web site developer and sets up a toll free number, as well as arranging any other communications services required by the business. The package is described on an interactive CD-Rom, and on the web site http://getonline.clear.net.nz. Both include a business plan template to help businesses define their online goals and guide them through the process.

CLEAR has more advanced packages, which will include features such as ecommerce, under development.
