New Club at America's Cup Village

The Music Factory – A 13 Week Party In The Amex Cup Village

Well known Auckland bar owner Kevin Schwass, ex PoeDium, Park in the Bar and now R’Toto fame, has a new name in his stable - this being The Music Factory, which will be the place to party for the next 13 weeks.

The Music Factory opens Friday night, in the southern end of the Village Pavilion, (former Old City Markets building in Custom Street West).

Kevin Schwass says: “this will add another dimension to all the activity down in the AMEX Cup Village, which now rates as the hottest destination point in the country with over 2.2million visitors having gone through the area since October”

“The one key thing everyone can look forward to is bands flown in directly from Australia, and performing everything from retro to current popular beats from the eighties and nineties” Schwass says.

“For those wanting to party down in a fun atmosphere, The Music Factory is the place to be” he adds.

DJ “Jon Davis” of English extraction, has performed in Europe, Asia and Australia, and is well known on the Auckland Music Scene. His commercial dance sounds, will hold the show together each night.

Partygoers can look forward to some exciting stage-production from College Hill Productions, who are responsible for providing sound and stage lighting for most international acts, including those attending the Big Day Out.

IT IS A 13 WEEK PARTY THAT NO-ONE WILL WANT TO MISS!
