CLEAR announces toll call deal to Australia, the UK and the US

CLEAR Communications today announced a new toll call deal to Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Weekend calls to the UK and USA, as well as Canada and Ireland, will cost only $8 (including GST) for up to two hours. Weekend calls to Australia will cost only $4 (including GST) for up to two hours.

Normal off-peak per-minute charges will apply after the two-hour limit. Calls to mobile phones overseas are not included.

CLEAR Communications Tolls Business Portfolio Manager Steven Jackson says CLEAR is pleased to be able to offer customers what they want – cheaper toll calls.

Although the new pricing structure means the end of “talk as long as you like” offers, the vast majority of CLEAR customers will be better off, he says.

“Most people seem to talk for 45 minutes to an hour, and they will pay less,” he says.
