Auckland SPCA To Benefit From Exellent Support!

A new name in pet care is working closely with the Auckland Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) to help more dogs and cats find loving homes by giving people an added incentive to visit the society when choosing to adopt a pet.

EXELPET, the new range of dog and cat health and hygiene products by Effem Foods, is supporting the Auckland SPCA by holding a sampling weekend at its Mangere Animal Village, 50 Westney Road from 10 am to 4 pm on July 22 and 23.

Effem Foods volunteers will staff a stand and hand out free full size EXELPET products to village visitors and the SPCA education officer will give personal tours both days. A slide and giant bouncy castle will entertain the kids along with the exciting new M&M's trailer filled with a variety of delicious confectionary. Complimentary Animal Ark books will also be distributed.

Effem Foods New Zealand in-market manager - petcare Kara Rodden says the sampling weekend at the SPCA will be a fun, family occasion and a good opportunity for people to get free quality health products for their new pet - a great start guaranteed.

"EXELPET is delighted to support the SPCA in this way and looks forward to working with the society further. We hope to help more cats and dogs find new homes this weekend by providing an added incentive for people to visit the SPCA," says Ms Rodden.

There are 21 items in the EXELPET range including flea and worming products, immune and digestive aiding chews, arthritis relief treatments and tasty (for animals only!) snacks high in vitamins and minerals.

EXELPET's All-Wormer Paste for cats and the Ezy-Dose Intestinal All-Wormer for dogs are easy to administer providing a quick, convenient, cost effective way to treat worming needs, removing the hassle for both the animal and the owner.

EXELPET is the market leader in Australia with expertise in pet care for more than 25 years. It is available in selected supermarkets nationwide. ________________________________________________________________________ Released on behalf of Effem Foods New Zealand by Porter Novelli New Zealand (Auckland) For further information please contact:
