Ztalk, powered by CLEAR Communications, has slashed prices to call friends and family overseas on Christmas Day.
Ztalk is offering half-price calls from midnight to midnight on December 25th to every country in the world. A call to the USA, UK, Australia and Canada will cost just 99 cents for up to 15 minutes.
The offer does not include calls within New Zealand, calls to mobiles or card calls.
Customers must pre-register with Ztalk before making a call, but they don't have to change their current toll provider. More information is available on Ztalk's web site, www.ztalk.co.nz or by calling the toll-free registration number, 0508 4 ZTALK.

For example, a call anywhere in New Zealand for up to 15 minutes costs just 99 cents. Calls to cell phones continue to be charged at per-minute rates - at a low 59 cents per minute to a cell phone anywhere in New Zealand. Ztalk customers can access free help and advice via email, but telephone customer service costs 99 cents per minute.
