Hitwise & AMR Interactive Join Forces

Leading Research Firms Hitwise & AMR Interactive Join Forces To
Complete The Online Picture

14 August 2001, Australia

From today, AMR Interactive and Hitwise’s Research Services Division will join forces to provide comprehensive research reports, providing analysis on several topics such as website evaluation, testing of marketing strategies to more effectively drive visitors to sites, and Internet usage patterns.

The strategic alliance is planned to significantly expand the variety of information each company provides to its respective client base.

By combining AMR Interactive’s expertise in customised research with Hitwise’s unique ability to monitor over 100,000 websites, spanning 150 niche industry categories, clients will now have the opportunity for the first time to purchase customised reports that consist of Hitwise metrics and AMR’s interpretation of the data.

"We are delighted to be working with Hitwise to take online consumer behaviour research to this new level," said Brian Fine, Chairman of AMR Interactive. “Hitwise’s Research Services Division produces a range of research reports based on their unmatched coverage of the market which is complimentary to the advanced research analysis provided by AMR Interactive,” said Fine.

"From Hitwise’s perspective, this is precisely the type of alliance that we have been working towards,” said Hitwise’s CEO, Andrew Walsh. "Just as AMR Interactive will now be able to comment on trends in niche industry categories, we will be able to provide our Hitwise Research Services clients with advanced interpretations of our data,” said Walsh.
