Business As Usual at ANZ in New Zealand

Monday 20 August Media Advisory

Business As Usual at ANZ in New Zealand

ANZ's New Zealand customers will not be affected by the minor industrial action involving ANZ in Australia today.

ANZ General Manager Human Resources, David Laragy, said the Bank's credit card, telephone banking and mortgage operations in New Zealand are independent from Australia.

No stopwork meetings are planned in New Zealand.

Customer impact in Australia is expected to be minimal with over 92% of ANZ staff there continuing work.
