Start-up business Mariner7 expands its options

Mariner7, Carter Holt Harvey’s specialist human resources business, today announced the sale of its premier HR product Talent Engine to international software company StaffCV Inc., which will expose the product to a broader customer base.

“In order to achieve greater market potential for our product Talent Engine, we have been pursuing an opportunity with StaffCV, a specialist recruitment software company. Today we can confirm that we have agreed to the sale of Talent Engine”, said Katja Carson, Chief Executive for Mariner7.

“The sale of Talent Engine is a market endorsement of Mariner7’s strategy for developing leading edge HR software solutions.

Prior to meeting Mariner7, StaffCV had developed a complete recruitment management tool, with the aim of giving control back to employers, and reducing the traditional costs associated with recruiting.

“Integrating the Talent Engine psychometric tool within this product closes the loop on recruitment, creating an extremely sophisticated tool that is currently unmatched in the global marketplace”, says Jason Kerr, CEO and founder of StaffCV.

StaffCV has established offices in Auckland, Christchurch, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and Chicago.

Key to the programme of developing other opportunities for Mariner7 are discussions with potential partners for the Talent Manager product.

“Through the right partnership with an established human resources or organisational development service provider we can help deliver far greater market expansion opportunities for this product”, said Carson. “We are currently exploring options for Talent Manager.”
