Not sure if you need a visa for your next overseas trip? Maybe you want to find out more about your destination, but it’s too much of a hassle accessing different sources just to get basic information? Relax - Singapore Airlines has just made the whole process easier. Using the Airline’s website, www.singaporeair.co.nz, customers making an online booking on Singapore Airlines can access travel information such as visa and passport requirements, currency and time conversion tools and weather updates, as well as receive a brief introduction to their destination .

“Being a frequent business traveller myself, I know how tedious it can be to stay abreast of the latest currency changes or visa requirements. By having this service on our website, we are making the pre-flight experience more convenient and less time-consuming, especially for those who prefer to make their travel bookings online,” said Mr Yap Kim Wah, Singapore Airlines’ Senior Vice President Product & Services.

Mr Yap added, “With this new travel-related information available on the Singapore Airlines website, our customers can quickly access the information they need at the click of a mouse!”

Other services available via the Singapore Airlines website include Internet check-in, Singapore Airlines Mobile Services such as flight alerts, KrisFlyer Membership Services, and the increasingly popular “Book The Cook” meal service.

“Singapore Airlines will continue to explore ways to extend its customer service excellence online,” said Mr Yap. “We will seek to innovate and enhance our website to provide even more personalised services and a wider selection of tools and functions for our customers.”
