Reed Recruitment Announces New Appointment

Reed Recruitment is delighted to announce the appointment of Rachael Michael to the position of Consultant for its Accounting and Finance Division.

Rachael brings over four years’ experience to the position, having worked in various accounts, administration, reception and recruitment roles for the likes of Adecco Personnel, the Cook Islands Sports and National Olympic Committee, Lampen, Fletcher Challenge, The Warehouse, and Unisys.

General Manager of Reed Recruitment, Jim Burke, says Rachael’s appointment not only strengthens Reed Recruitment’s team of consultants, but demonstrates Reed’s commitment to furnish itself with the best team available.

Rachael, who started at Reed on December 2, 2002, made the move to Reed Recruitment after returning from the Cook Islands with a desire to relaunch her career in the recruitment industry.

“I am familiar with the industry and know I really enjoyed it. I applied for the job because it sounded fascinating, and got it!” she says.

Rachael has worked in several different industries throughout her life which, although quite different, have transferable skills and the core functionalities that are transportable from job to job.

“This is a great career move for me because Reed Recruitment is a well-established recruitment consultancy that is only getting bigger, and it’s a great opportunity to be part of their team.”
