ANZ Announces Decrease In Home Loan Interest Rates

ANZ General Manager of Mortgages, David Hamilton, today announced a raft of decreases in the Bank's fixed term home lending rates.

ANZ's new rates - effective Tuesday 11 February - are as follows:

Old Rate New Rate

6 months 6.95% 6.85% 1 year 6.85% 6.75% 18 months 6.75% No change 2 years 7.25% 6.90% 30 months 6.95% 6.90% 3 years 7.40% 6.95% 4 years 7.50% 7.15% 5 years 7.70% 7.25%

ANZ's rate for the popular three-year fixed term is now considerably lower than those offered by ASB, BNZ, Westpac and National Bank.
