Sctoom appoints Creative Director & PR Manager

Sctoom appoints Creative Director and Public Relations Manager

May 21, 2003 Auckland/Gulf Harbour- Sctoom Incorporated (NZ) Ltd. announces the appointment of Mr. Paul Ullrich to the position of Creative Director, and the creation of a new Public Relations Manger role, filled by Mrs. Suzanne Stoltz.

Since opening its doors in Gulf Harbour one year ago, Sctoom has swiftly gained a reputation for high-quality marketing and advertising products. Since Paul joined CEO David Mack at Sctoom in September 2002, the marketing communications company has celebrated its first year anniversary and several multi-million dollar contracts.

With over 15 years in the advertising industry, Mr. Ullrich was formerly Senior Art Director with Grant Marshall at Spearhead Communications. He brings creative flair and extensive experience working for multi-national agencies both in NZ and abroad.

Mr. David Mack says Paul was selected because, “His creative eye and pedantic attitude towards our clients’ work makes him a bigger pain in the butt than I am.” He adds, “Unlike our competitors, at Sctoom we aren’t afraid to admit that both our clients and our company are in business to make money. Paul understands this, and to top it off, he makes me look like a softy.”

In April, 2003, Mr. Mack appointed Mrs. Suzanne Stoltz as Sctoom’s Public Relations Manager. He says creating this position shows a commitment to providing the best possible strategic communications advice and products for Sctoom’s clients.

Hailing from Canada, Mrs. Stoltz has 12 years real-world experience in a wide variety of communications positions – including journalist, editor, and strategic communications advisor. She brings a direct, no-nonsense approach that fits Sctoom’s philosophy. Most recently, as a national Communications Strategist with Canada’s national police force (the Royal Canadian Mounted Police) she has managed several high-profile communications projects, including national security issues.

Mr. Mack says the appointment of a Public Relations Manager will benefit the company’s clients and Sctoom itself. “ Suzanne is a strong strategic thinker and writer who can manage the entire communication process – from concept to completion. And working for the RCMP on sensitive issues means she’s got great experience putting out fires. She’s not afraid to tell me or clients if we’re wrong.”

Sctoom recently opened a second office located in Parnell’s East on Quay building, and will be opening an office in Wellington to better service it’s growing clientele in the near future.
