Industry Veteran Assists Leading Online Competitive Intelligence Service With US Expansion

NEW YORK, 23rd June, 2003 - Hitwise, the world's leading online competitive intelligence service, today announced the appointment of Will Hodgman as the company's first US based board member.

With profitable operations in Asia and Europe, and 600 global corporate clients, the Australian based company that monitors how over 25 million Internet users visit 300,000 websites on a daily basis, has recently launched its service in the US market.

Hodgman is currently President and CEO of Sightward, Inc., a predictive analytics company based in Seattle, Washington. His 20-year career as an entrepreneur and sales and marketing executive includes several senior positions in various marketing and online audience measurement companies. Prior to joining Sightward, Hodgman was the Executive Vice President of Measurement Services for NetRatings, Inc. Before joining NetRatings, he was President of Measurement Services for Jupiter Media Metrix and member of the Executive Board. Hodgman came to Jupiter Media Metrix by acquisition of a company he founded, AdRelevance, Inc., the leading online advertising measurement service. As founder, President and CEO, Hodgman inspired the service in late 1998, raised the venture capital, launched the service and sold the company for $66 million in a "stock for stock" transaction. Prior to AdRelevance, Hodgman held executive positions at Foote Cone & Belding and McCann-Erickson.
