REINZ Announces Record Breaking Number of Entries for this Year's Journalism Awards

The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand has received a record number of entries for its 14th Annual Property Journalism Awards, with 236 pieces of work entered from 32 journalists nationwide.

An upturn in the number of lifestyle magazines participating, as well as a significant rise in the number of Internet-based media taking part have helped boost this year's entries to its highest level to date.

Real Estate Institute National President, Mr. Graeme Woodley said that this year's number of entries reflected the high quality of journalism in the real estate and property field.

"We are very pleased with the amount of 'new' media which have entered, adding to the diversification of this year's entries."

The annual REINZ Property Journalism Awards are the Institute's way of acknowledging journalists contribution to the high level of understanding New Zealander's have about the property market, while also recognising those who excel in their field."

The award categories are Best Property Portfolio, Best Provincial Property Portfolio, Best Lifestyle Portfolio and Best Single Item for Residential, Commercial and Rural Property.
