FONTERRA TO TENDER WRIGHTSON STAKE TO RPI
Fonterra Co-operative Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Andrew Ferrier said today it was now clear that it was in his shareholders' best interests to tender the co-operative's shareholding in Wrightson to the Rural Portfolio Investments partial takeover offer.
"We will continue to encourage retail consolidation in the rural supplies sector through our ownership of RD1," he said.
