Harvard Business School Professor Address Sold-Out

Simpson Grierson delighted about the sell-out audience to hear Harvard Business School Professor explore the culture of success in business

Top tier law firm Simpson Grierson is delighted at the high level of interest from the New Zealand business community in the visiting Harvard Business School Professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter, who will tomorrow address a sell out audience on culture of success and failure.

Professor Kanter's presentation titled “Confidence: How Winning Streaks and Losing Streaks Begin and End” is the most popular in the University of Auckland Business School’s New Hemisphere Speaker Series to date.

Simpson Grierson Chairman Rob Fisher says, “As the major sponsor of Professor Kanter's presentation, we are thrilled at the high level of interest in her knowledge on such key business issues as strategy, innovation and leadership for change, and we look forward to a stimulating and thought provoking address.”

“Her insight into how winning streaks and losing streaks perpetuate themselves and how to change the dynamics of decline into cycles of success promises to be very relevant and engaging. Professor Kanter believes the fundamental task of leaders is to develop confidence in advance of victory in order to attract the kinds of investments that make victory possible … money, talent, support, loyalty, attention, effort or people’s best thinking.”

“These are valuable messages and concepts for the New Zealand business community and Simpson Grierson is delighted to have played a key role in enabling Professor Kanter to share her experience and expertise with us.”

The 2004 University of Auckland Business School New Hemisphere Speaker Series provides a dynamic forum between business, academia and government and has attracted a range of speakers who are all leaders in their fields.
