Tenon New Zealand Wins Supreme Award For Business With United States

Tenon was awarded the Supreme Award (all categories) for business with the United States at an Awards Ceremony hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Auckland yesterday. The award, presented by Prime Minister, Helen Clark and United States Ambassador, Charles Swindells, was in recognition of Tenon’s excellence in developing innovative markets for its value-added wood products, which are sold into large retailers in the United States through the Company’s own United States-based distribution channels.

The Company was also awarded Exporter of the Year in the “Goods” category.

John Dell, Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are thrilled with these awards, because they recognise the progress we have made in positioning the Company as a marketing and distribution-led company, focussing on high value-added products using wood sourced from sustainable New Zealand radiata pine plantations.
