Visa International today announced the appointment of Mr. Andrew Woodward as Director of Corporate Communications, Australia & New Zealand.

Andrew joins Visa International from Gavin Anderson & company where he was a communications adviser to the Governments of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea In major events and sport he also worked for the Sydney Olympic Games, Rugby World Cup 2003 and Australian Soccer.

Andrew has 20 years experience in communications having been a Ministerial Adviser to the Australian and New South Wales governments and a political broadcast journalist. He has also worked in a range of public and private sector organisations on strategic communications and issues management. Andrew will be responsible for a range of communications issues including media relations, stakeholder management and public relations.
