Elders Finance Secures Richard Long

Well-known television broadcaster Richard Long is the new face of Elders Finance, one of New Zealand’s largest and most profitable finance companies.

Richard provides a familiar face for investors in the new Elders Finance nationwide print and television advertising campaign ‘Murray’s Morrie’, which tells the story of a retired couple who on their wedding day were given a brand new Morris Minor which is still going strong today. Richard narrates the television commercial and is the ‘face’ of the print advertisements.

Hanover Group’s General Manager of Marketing and Operations, Perry Cornish, says Richard was the perfect choice for the well-respected Elders Finance investment brand.

“Richard has always been seen by the public as a credible source of information. As a trusted broadcaster he resonates with our investors and the wider New Zealand market.”

“New Zealanders have a strong affinity with Richard’s personality. The Elders Finance brand has strong history and family ties and Richard is the personification of those values.”

Richard was part of the highly acclaimed ONE News team for 16 years and has won numerous Qantas Media Awards. He is now a partner in television production company, Trilogy Productions.
