Director election results announced

Sheep, beef and goat farmers have cast their votes in the election to choose a director to represent the Western North Island electorate on the Board of Meat & Wool New Zealand Ltd.

The Returning Officer Warwick Lampp from Electionz.com, has advised the official results for the Meat & Wool NZ 2005 Director Election for the Western North Island electoral district.

AUSTIN, Jeremy 8,426

BRENNAN, Tony 6,975

Jeremy AUSTIN is hereby declared the Farmer Representative Director for the Western North Island electoral district.

The return percentage for the election was 26.25%. This represents 43% of the sheep and beef industry in the District.
