Telecom Extends $10 Txt Till 2006

Telecom has extended $10 TXT by guaranteeing the offer through to at least 31 December 2006.

$10 TXT was previously guaranteed to the end of this year.

Telecom Mobile General Manager Kevin Kenrick said $10 TXT remains the best value texting deal in New Zealand.

“Extending $10 TXT until the end of 2006 means our customers can be assured of getting this great value for many more months and 1000s of texts to come,” Mr Kenrick said.

With Telecom $10 TXT, customers pay no more than $10 for 500 national person to person TXTs per month to any mobile phone in the country.

A Telecom customer with average usage patterns - sending 300 texts a month – will save an estimated $35 a month compared with the texting rates offered by competitors.

“Our customers not only get substantial savings from $10 TXT, it also applies at any time and to texts sent to any mobile phone in the country.”

Mr Kenrick said $10 TXT would help to ensure the fast growing medium of texting continued to be an inexpensive way for Kiwis to communicate.

For customers with heavy texting needs Telecom also offers the Boost Mobile Monsta plan.
