It is agreed that the following statement which will be released by the mediator is the only press statement to be made about the negotiations.
Stagecoach Auckland and the Stagecoach
Combined Unions have been in mediation over the last two
days n and a settlement has been reached subject to
ratification by the combined union membership.
The settlement will be recommended to an all up meeting by the Combined Union negotiating team.
The meeting is to be held at 4 pm on Sunday 19 June. This has been timed to minimise any inconvenience to the travelling public.
The Mediator Keith Handley says the proposed agreement is based on the following:

· A top rate of $16.00
· A two year term
· A lump sum
· A revised overtime arrangement
