DHL Appoints New National Sales Manager


DHL has announced the appointment of Phil Corcoran to the position of National Sales Manager New Zealand.

Mr Corcoran has worked within the DHL Express network for 10 years and brings to the position extensive experience within the freight and logistics industry from both a sales and relationship management perspective.

He has held a number of senior managerial positions during this time and was most recently Relationship Segment Sales Manager Australia where he fostered significant growth in this business unit.

Mr Corcoran has also served as General Manager Pacific Islands and, during this two year period, consolidated the company’s strong presence within countries including Fiji, French Polynesia, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.

DHL Express General Manager, Phil Rountree, said, “his leadership skills, enthusiasm and expert knowledge made Phil the natural choice for this role. His impressive background and dedicated approach will assist the company in maximising its competitive advantage in the freight and logistics field.”

Mr Corcoran will manage the field sales and telesales teams and will have each of the DHL regional managers from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch reporting to him.
