"No Sweat" for Silkbody Summer 2005/06

New Zealand cult clothing brand Silkbody has launched their new Summer 2005/06 range with a new-look campaign.

The promotional campaign was shot in London by New Zealand photographer Camille Sanson.

Director and designer Emily Cooper says the new campaign reflects Silkbody’s move into the fashion market and its nature as an international brand.

“Silkbody is designed in Dunedin, New Zealand, and worn all over the world.”

Silkbody has gathered a passionate following for its trans-seasonal garments in Australia and New Zealand that redefine “underwear as outerwear”.

Ms Cooper says Silkbody is no longer seen as just a thermal brand.

“Although we started producing undergarments for the outdoor market, Silkbody has evolved into a range of everyday essential garments for all seasons.”

She says Silkbody is fantastic to wear all year round by providing “climate control” for your body.

The innovative use of silk fibre and its special properties are a central factor behind the success of the Silkbody brand.

“Because it's so lightweight and has natural moisture management properties, your skin stays dry, you don't overheat, and you don't get that clammy summer feeling.”

Ms Cooper says this makes Silkbody perfect for travel and urban summer adventures.

The 2005/06 Silkbody Summer collection of colours includes Viola, Tundra, Rose and Tundra/Grey stripe.
