Susan Devoy, Annah Stretton to talk about secrets of their success at businesswomen’s conference


Former world squash champion Susan Devoy along with Annah Stretton, who is tipped to be one of the stars of the Wearable Arts Award next week, are among guest speakers at the Her Business 2005 women’s business conference in Auckland later this month.

Both personalities will talk about the secrets of their success along with 16 other speakers on September 28 and 29.

Stretton is the current Her Business Woman of the Year. She has cut a fashion trail across New Zealand and now has 28 stores nationwide. She is one of five finalists in the NZ Entrepreneur Awards, to be announced next month. She has already won best retailer of the year and will feature in the World of Wearable Arts in Wellington on September 23.

Dame Susan won four world squash titles to 1992 and is the current chairperson of the Halberg Trust. She will talk about how to stay motivated when on top.

Body care product company owner Brigit Blair, last year’s Her Business Woman of the Year, is also among the speakers, with Mary Lambie as MC.
