Dick Smith Electronics continues to grow
Dick Smith Electronics continues to grow in New Zealand, with the doubling of retail space in Napier.
New Zealand general manager Stu Meadows said that the company had outgrown its premises in Emerson St, prompting the move to the much bigger store on the corner of Wellesley and Kennedy Rds.
“The new store has 300 square metres of retail space – twice the amount we had in Emerson St,” he said.
“Our range is constantly expanding and we need the space to accommodate it.”
The move follows the opening of new stores in Upper Hutt and Blenheim, and the doubling of retail space at the Dick Smith Electronics PowerHouse store in Hamilton.
The new Napier store opens this weekend.
