Mango-Tini Set To Shake Up Fashion Week

Monday 3 October

The Mango-Tini Set To Shake Up Air New Zealand Fashion Week.

Finlandia Vodka is set to mix it up again with the fashion elite, with confirmation of the premium brand as the "Official Vodka of Air New Zealand Fashion Week" for the third year in a row.

Want to know what fashionistas will be sipping at this year's Air New Zealand Fashion Week? A crisp, fresh, fabulous and funky Finlandia Mangotini, THIS YEAR'S TOP MODEL.

Exotic and cool, mango is one of the most fashionable flavours around. Teamed with Finlandia's purest-tasting vodka, the Mangotini is the ultimate in fashionable cocktails. Created specially for Air New Zealand Fashion Week the Finlandia Mangotini will be available on-site for the duration of New Zealand's premiere fashion event.

The Finlandia Mangotini is shaken with the brand new mango flavour-infused vodka by Finlandia.

"Mangos are sweet, slightly acidic and fruity. That combination lends itself to use in a wide range of cocktails," says Michael Campbell, Finlandia Vodka Brand Manager.

Finlandia Vodka is one of the purest vodkas in the world, a product of unequalled quality and the highest possible standards. Its refreshing, crisp taste can be attributed to the finest ingredients. Unlike other "premium brands" the water used requires no additional treatment, it is naturally filtered through glacial moraine formed during the ice age. Today, Finlandia Vodka is one of the top premium vodkas in the world and is sold in over 100 countries. Finlandia Vodka is 37.5% abv.

The public will also be able to sample this designer cocktail on request at all stylish bars serving Finlandia during Air New Zealand Fashion Week.

Finlandia Vodka Brand Manager, Michael Campbell, says there are excellent synergies between Finlandia and Air New Zealand Fashion Week.

"Fashion has a natural fit with Finlandia, and Air New Zealand Fashion Week is "the" premier fashion event in New Zealand.

"The event showcases the very best of New Zealand fashion, attracts many of the world's top buyers and media and generates huge attention internationally and domestically. So we are truly delighted to continue our involvement in the event."

Finlandia Mango Fusion joins Finlandia Vodka, Finlandia Lime Fusion and Finlandia Cranberry Fusion in the Finlandia Family of brands.

If you are hosting your own fabulous fashion party here's how to create the Finlandia Mangotini:

45ml Finlandia Mango Fusion
15ml Triple Sec
100ml Fresh Mango Juice
Shake and strain into a sugar-rimmed martini glass
Garnish with mango
