Fifth Largest Prize Ever Up For Grabs In Tomorrow's Big Wednesday Draw

The Big Wednesday First Division prize has jackpotted to a huge $9.5 million, meaning that if won tomorrow, it would be the fifth largest prize given away by NZ Lotteries, Chief Executive Trevor Hall said today.

"When you add in the value of the non-cash prizes, such as the Range Rover Vogue V8, the Porsche Carrera 911 and the Mustang launch, the total First Division prize is worth just over $11 million.

"We've seen some big prizes in Powerball, and now Big Wednesday is also offering players the chance to win a life-changing amount," says Mr Hall.

Big Wednesday offers players the chance to win not only a big cash prize, but also luxury non-cash prizes as well.

Tomorrow Big Wednesday players will be in to win:

- $9.5 million;
- Porsche 911 Carrera;
- Range Rover Vogue V8;
- $50,000 worth of luxury travel every year for five years;
- $250,000 American Express Platinum card;
- Mustang luxury launch; and
- $500,000 holiday home.

"We can't wait to get our first Big Wednesday First Division winner. Whoever takes home these fantastic prizes will truly have won the ultimate lifestyle," says Mr Hall.

The odds of winning Big Wednesday First Division are 1 in 16.3 million, roughly mid-way between those of Lotto First Division (1 in 3.8 million) and Powerball First Division (1 in 30.7 million).

Big Wednesday tickets can be purchased from any Lotto shop.
