Let Us Paint You a Picture…

The latest Audited Bureau of Circulation (ABC) figures have just been released to the public. Jones Publishing is pleased to announce that Habitat, the interiors magazine produced for Resene Paints, has a total NZ circulation of 164,287. This is up 8,000 on the circulation this time last year.

But what does that really mean? Let’s compare it with some of the other titles published in the interiors category. According to the ABC figures, Habitat’s circulation is twice that of its nearest competitor, NZ House & Garden (70,629). It’s almost four times that of Your Home & Garden (42,780). It’s over seven times that of NZ Home & Entertaining (21,155), and a whopping eleven times that of Urbis (14,749).

And then when it comes to other titles in the market, like Trends or Homestyle, there can be no comparison. Quite literally – as these magazines do not even audit their circulations.

In fact, Habitat is the fourth highest circulating local magazine in any category. Only AA Directions (546,968), SkyWatch (479,408) and TV Guide (194,263) can boast higher numbers.

So, next time you’re looking to capture a huge audience of pre-qualified, upper socio-economic home-owners, why not make yourself a home at Habitat.
